Agra Heritage Tour – Agra Food Tour

Agra Heritage Tour
Agra heritage tour is meant for travelers with deep interest in history, romantics and people who want to explore the places they visit in detail rather than just see and click photos. For most tourists, Agra is limited to Taj Mahal and perhaps a visit to Agra Fort nearby. But Agra was the capital of Mughal empire under three kings and is full of history and stories which most people don’t know about. The city is gifted with numerous gardens, forts, mosques, mausoleums and bazars built by different people from 13th to 19th century.

I’timad-Ud-Daulah tomb built by queen Nur Janha

One of the most important, yet lesser known example is I’timad-Ud-Daulah tomb built by queen Nur Janha in memory of her father. It is made of white marble, inlaid with precious and semi-precious stones and is considered by many historians as one of the major inspirations for Taj Mahal. A number of aspects from this tomb were copied in Taj Mahal.

This Heritage Tour of Agra is meant to fill you in with such facts and to discover the true heritage, sights and anecdotes which will make your Taj Mahal trip something to remember and recall fondly for whole life. Following are some important details of this tour:

Review of India Food Tour – Private Tour

““Great India experience”
We visited Delhi and Varanasi during our trip to India this time and hired them to plan everything. It was a good decision overall, as unlike the previous tour operator during our previous trip, they didn’t ask us to follow any strict schedule and prices were very reasonable. We had a great time in both cities, specially in New Delhi. The cars were comfortable for long journey, hotels were exactly what we paid for and the food in both cities was excellent.” #tourism #india #food #travel

““Lovely travel experience in Himalayas”
Hello, We had a 8 days tour of Himalayas last month and it was a very enjoyable experience. We hired a SUV, one nice TIbetan homestay, a guide and 1 porter for a bit of trekking and the overall experience was pretty nice. The SUV was comfortable and rugged which was essential in rough mountain roads. Our Tibetan hosts were very warm, friendly and took good care of us. Couldn’t thank those people enough. Even though the price was a bit on higher side, the quality of service and attention to detail afforded to us during this journey was worth it” #tourism #india #food #travel

Review of India Food Tour – Private Tour

“Excellent journey in India” Our journey to India was very entertaining, comfortable and fun. We saw a lot of great sights and ate some very good food. One can safely say that the majority of credit should go to the people working for India Food Tour. They helped us with everything, starting from designing the tour plan to type of car, food and everything in between. We visited New Delhi, Shimla, Dhamrshala and Manali . We had some very good experience in the Yoga ashram and exploring the green mountains and small towns. Our car was comfortable and spacious and the driver was a cool guy who knew his way around. The hotels we had during the tour were very good, with clean and comfortable rooms and good service. The 2 weeks we spent in India was our best vacation ever. #tourism #india #food #travel

Review of India Food Tour – Private Tour

“Well planned and wonderful India tour” We used this company’s service for our 7 days trip in India. We had a tour of New Delhi, Agra and Jaipur with a private car, guide, food tours in New Delhi and Jaipur and stays in heritage hotels (old palaces converted to hotels). The hotels were luxurious, comfortable and had nice service. Our car was in good condition and was comfortable for long journeys. The food tour and cooking classes were very enjoyable and we enjoyed them as much as we enjoyed the sightseeing. Our guides in all the places spoke good English and German and we could understand them easily. The whole process starting from planning of tour to it’s execution went like clockwork. #tourism #india #food #travel

Review of India Food Tour – Private Tour

““Exhilarating adventures in India” We loved how all the activities in our travel package were arranged and everything presented exactly according to plan. We had confirmed our travel package 2 weeks before our arrival and they did a very good job of arranging everything in such a short notice. Everything starting from sightseeing to places to stay and food were awesome. Instead of hotels, we spent time in small home stays and lodges which was much more comfortable, fun and learning experience. Highlights of our tours were offbeat adventure activities like zip lining and gliding which were a scary at first, but we enjoyed them a lot. I personally loved this unique experience of this offbeat travel which is totally different from general packaged tours common elsewhere.
Good luck and god bless.” #tourism #india #food #travel

Review of India Food Tour – Private Tour

“Once in a life time experience” We totally loved our India journey due to excellent service provided by this company. We got most of our plans finalized via email and skype. Their service began right from the moment we landed in India and ended only when we left after completing the journey. We had some awesome activities like culinary tours, jungle safaris and city walk in some amazing places and loved every single moment of it. Tigers of Ranthmabore national park were awesome. India is a huge and diverse country and it was really once in a lifetime experience for us. Can’t wait to get back next year and spend the New Year’s even in Goa. #travel #tourism #india #food
